I love tank tops, but finding ones that I can wear when I’m nursing is often almost impossible. With the too-thin straps and low cut of most tank tops, I find that my nursing bra is usually left hopelessly exposed. I was thrilled when I was given the chance to review one of their beautiful shirts for myself.
I chose the white Nursing Criss-Cross Tank in a size small to review. This unique top features a gorgeous criss-cross of fabric that looks unbelievably stylish and modern. I loved the bright white color, and the cotton fabric with just a hint of spandex was incredibly soft. I couldn’t wait to see how the top worked for me!
I pulled on the shirt and immediately fell in love with it. The body hugging fit of the Momzelle top looked great and had the long length I love so that I didn’t have to worry about inadvertently showing off my middle in the course of my day. The v-neck created by the criss-crossed fabric was dramatic and sexy, but was also high enough that I didn’t feel excessively exposed. Finally, the wide shoulder straps ensured that my nursing bra was completely concealed beneath the shirt. The overall look was great, and definitely not that of a nursing shirt.
As beautiful as this shirt was, it was the comfort and ease of the Momzelle top that really impressed me. The light cotton of the shirt was so cool and comfortable that I could happily have worn it for days! And when it was time to feed Benjamin, I discovered just how easy nursing with the Momzelle top really was.
The crossed fabric in the front of the shirt means that feeding Benjamin is as easy as pulling one layer of the fabric down to expose my breast and then opening my nursing bra. With one hand, I can have my shirt out of the way and my son nursing in what is literally a matter of seconds. The innovative criss-cross design means that when I pull the fabric down on one side of the shirt, the other half of my chest stays completely covered. I have never seen a nursing top that is as easy to use as the Momzelle tank top!
I have washed and dried the tank top repeatedly since I received it and it still fits perfectly and looks amazing. Because I love this shirt so much, I usually put it on as soon as it comes out of the wash!
