Everyday Bicycles Women’s Traveler Bicycle-Review and Giveaway

Is there anyone that doesn’t love riding a bike? When I was in my early twenties, I had a fancy double-suspension mountain bike and I even managed to convince myself that I would spend enough time on dirt roads and rocky trails to make the bike’s off-road design necessary. Today I’m a little more realistic and when it comes right down to it, there is only one thing I want from my bicycle…comfort. I want to look and feel as comfortable as possible when I’m riding a bike because honestly, I really won’t be going on any wild adventures and I don’t need a bike that is harder to pedal as a result of compensating for the double suspension or a bike that has heavy, chunky tires that are almost always going to be on pavement anyways.

everyday bicycles women's travelerI stopped riding a bike after my oldest son was born and I haven’t done much riding since then because the places I go are generally fairly close to home and popping a child in a stroller is usually quicker than fumbling with a complex bicycle carrier. But when I got a chance to review the incredible Women’s Traveler bicycle from Everyday Bicycles, I knew it was time to get back on the seat once again. Everyday Bicycles is an incredible line of bikes designed to provide exactly what I was looking for in a bicycle, a comfortable, easy to ride experience designed for the average user that just wants to stay on the beaten path. The bicycle sounded like just what I needed and I couldn’t wait to try it out for myself.

The bicycle has a sleek white and green design that I immediately fell in love with and after taking my first ride, I loved much more than just the colour! This bike has so many great features to make it the ultimate pleasure bike. I loved the clearly labelled quick-click gear shifters for this fun 21-speed bike; I must admit, I’ve never really understood how a bicycle’s gears worked before. With three main gear positions to choose from on the left shifter and seven secondary positions on the right, I could find a tension and force that worked perfectly for whatever road I was riding on.

The basic frame design of the bike was unlike any bike I have ever ridden before. Because it was made for smooth and enjoyable riding, the frame design is built so that I am sitting upright when I ride instead of leaning forward and supporting my upper body with my arms. If I have a desire to increase my speed, I can lean forward and pedal harder but when I want to just move comfortably, I can sit upright as I do so with proper posture!

I think my favourite feature was the comfort saddle seat with suspension seat post. Everyone knows that bouncing over a rough surface on a bicycle seat can be quite uncomfortable to the lower regions. The ingenious seat on the Everyday Bicycles Women’s Traveler has a suspension system built into the post so that I can enjoy a smooth and comfortable ride even on a rough gravel road.

Everyday Bicycles offers their unique comfort-designed bicycles in a man’s, a woman’s and a commuter’s style to fit the needs of different riders. Every one of the bikes features the specially designed comfort frame that makes these bikes such a great choice for anyone looking for a truly comfortable biking experience.

Overall, I found that the Everyday Bicycles Women’s Traveler was exactly what I needed in a bike. It let me get from one place to another quickly, easily and comfortably. With a bike trailer hooked to the back, I am able to take Benjamin wherever I go and Zackary is having a great time going for bike rides with Mom! I am having tons of fun with my Women’s Traveler bicycle and I am so glad I have started biking once again! If you love riding a bike but haven’t done so in a while, Everyday Bicycles is a perfect choice for you. You’ll be amazed at how fun and comfortable biking has become!

  1. I like the “retro” looking accessories, and the lap top bag means you don’t have to do the uncomfortable knapsack to go to work!

  2. I learnt that Everyday Bicycles has created the Comfort Rotation, means that you are sitting in the perfect riding position
