Go Diego Go: Fiercest Animal Rescues DVD-Review and Giveaway

Benjamin has really started to notice his brother’s television shows a lot more recently and he even has a couple of favourites of his own. “Gabba ga,” known as Yo Gabba Gabba to most people, is one of his favourites because he loves dancing along to the music. His other favourite is “Day-go,” the always-popular Go Diego Go! The moment he hears the theme music start, he runs over to the television yelling, “Day-go!” in a singsong voice. So when I opened up one of the parcels that had arrived at the house and pulled out Go Diego Go: Fiercest Animal Rescues, Benjamin was absolutely energized. Here’s a brief synopsis:

go diego go fiercest animal rescues dvd cover Fierce animals need rescuing too! Join Diego as he travels the world to help fierce fauna like an octopus, a gorilla, a jaguar and more!

I put the disc on for Benjamin and he immediately started singing along with the theme song. But his fun didn’t end there. He watched the entire first episode and when Diego or the other characters asked questions, I was delighted to hear Benjamin answering! He especially loved when the Rescue Pack asked if it should turn into different objects. “Will this help us cross the gorge?” Rescue Pack would ask. “Naooow!” Benjamin would say with the perfect amused tone.

The DVD features three episodes that focus on the most dangerous animals Diego has ever rescued. I loved the special Fiercest Animals episode; instead of just featuring one fierce animal, it featured five! Diego’s stories of gorillas, grizzly bears and hippos were so enjoyable, and I especially liked how every episode always had some facts about the animals as well. I love children’s shows that I can learn something from too!

Benjamin loved every episode of this 92-minute DVD and for most little boys, there’s no better choice for an entertaining afternoon. For fun and adventure with the fiercest friends, check out Go Diego Go: Fiercest Animal Rescues today!

Coyote was the scariest one I’ve encountered because it was following me while I was walking to my house. No one was around except many tall trees! I managed not to run, but stay calm and I’m guessing I possibly avoided an attack by staying calm!

A moose. I know it sounds strange, but we unknowingly put our tent up in the path a moose took to the water each day. We consider ourselves lucky to not have been trampled. I woke in the night to the sound of stomping and heavy breathing on the side of the tent

The fiercest animal I’ve ever seen was a porcupine that my huge 125 dog was barking at one night in my driveway here in the country. My poor dog ended up with quills on his snout and face. We took him right away to our vet to have them removed.

Last summer at a wildlife park an elk charged the fence and just barely hit my son with his antler. We were back about 6 feet from the fence but he was so strong he managed to move the fence. My son was thrown a few feet and had a mark on his chest from the antler tip. Thank god we weren’t closer to the fence!

    Jill Myrick says:

For ten years I worked as a comercial and residential contract cleaner.
Once when I was cleaning a home after a party I removed a cutting board and discovered a really bad mess beneath it where they had prepared sushi. So I went outside to my vehicle to get more cleaning rags.
While I was inside the back of it something began to lick my ankle and thinking it was the neighbors dogs that I was accustomed to I call back that I was on my way out and would give them some love.
When I crawled out the back I reached in to get the rags that I had brought forward. And as I was doing so I turned to the side to pet the dog. But instead of a dog it was a waist high brown bear licking my ankle.
I honestly tried to scream but nothing would come out, not even a squeak. It looked at me as I looked at it and when it turned I ran as fast as I could back inside.
