Dora the Explorer: Dora Loves Boots DVD-Review and Giveaway

Friendship is a wonderful thing, and if you’re watching shows for preschoolers regularly, you’ll quickly learn that when it comes to friendship, Dora and her pet monkey Boots are as close as two friends can be. And that’s the idea that’s celebrated in the latest DVD release of Nickelodeon’s hit television show. Dora the Explorer: Dora Loves Boots contains four great episodes all about friendship. Here’s a brief synopsis:

dora the explorer dora loves boots box artCelebrate Dora and Boots’ playful friendship in Dora the Explorer: Dora Loves Boots. This DVD contains three new-to-DVD episodes that feature the adventures of Dora and her best friend, Boots. The DVD will also offer parents the opportunity to use the Gramify program and send their kids a free personalized phone call from Dora (limited time offer).

Zackary has really outgrown Dora the Explorer, but Benjamin still enjoys the show and he loved seeing his favourite character, Boots the monkey, play such an active role in the episodes. Whether Dora was helping her best friend learn to ride a big-kid bike or rescuing him after a magical mishap courtesy of the Big Red Chicken, Benjamin had lots of fun watching to see what the duo would do next. His favourite Nickelodeon character of them all, Diego, even made an appearance!

As an added bonus, this DVD features a special code for children to receive a free personalized phone greeting from Dora herself! I haven’t used the code yet, but only because I’m planning on saving it until my four-year-old niece comes to visit! As much as Benjamin likes Dora, he simply wouldn’t get the same enjoyment out of an experience like this as she would!

This is a feel-good DVD, plain and simple. It’s a great choice for kids that love Dora the Explorer and it’s also a fun choice for a child that is learning about friendship-based concepts like helping others. Check it out for yourself and let your favourite little Dora the Explorer fan enjoy the camaraderie of Dora and her best pal Boots!

My wife usually takes care of things like that and she loves to send actual mail through Can. Post. She sends thinking of you, wedding, anniv., birthday, everything – and often includes something – anything that fits in an envelope – stickers, bookmarks, DVD’s, GCs. She’s kinda known for it now. She always uses stickers on the front and bacck of the mail as well and she has very unique handwriting so everyone recognizes her mail – esp. the post office.
