Lianne’s Quick Guide Babies: 0-6 Months Booklet-Review and Giveaway

All us parents have those moments when we’re caring for our children and suddenly find ourselves searching for an answer or a fact about some aspect of what we’re doing. Raising children is nothing if not challenging but good information can definitely make a tough situation easier.

lianne's quick guide babies 0-6 months coverThat’s the philosophy behind the Lianne’s Quick Guide series by Canadian-born author Lianne Bergeron. Recently I was given the chance to review Lianne’s Quick Guide Babies: 0-6 Months, a handy pocket-sized booklet that covers all of the most common questions and concerns mothers might have during their child’s first six months of life. The book is the first in a series that will eventually cover a wide range of various subjects and I couldn’t wait to see what it was like.

The book is in a handy Question and Answer format and is divided into twenty sections so that a new mother can easily find the question she needs. Even better, after each Q&A there is a list of the page numbers containing related questions so that if you didn’t get the answer you were looking for or you need more information, you can check out the other pages to find what you need.

Reading this book was like stepping back in time for me; I was instantly transported to the time when my oldest son was just a few months old and I was learning about motherhood with each passing day. Fortunately, as the oldest of five children, I had a bit of experience with babies but nothing could have prepared me for the excitement and exhaustion that came with caring for my own precious baby boy!

Lianne writes with a compassionate and open-minded style that any overwhelmed young mother will appreciate. I loved that her advice made it clear that in most situations, the best tool a new mother has is her intuition about what is best for her baby!

From feeding to first aid and traveling to teething, this book really does include all the useful information a mother might need. And the concise and complete answers are quick both to access and to read. Lianne’s Quick Guide Babies: 0-6 Months would make a great gift for any new mom and if you’re feeling a bit worried about becoming a mother, it’s a nice gift to buy for yourself too! So visit the website and check out the this handy booklet. You’ll love how easy it is to find the answers you need!
