Turning Leaves Foundation’s mission is to provide support to children with chronic illness and their families. They provide both educational and emotional group support to enable them to cope better. Their focus is on building confidence, learning from past mistakes and moving past the negative feelings associated with chronic illness. This event was by invitation only and since my husband has issues with chronic pain, I knew wanted to be a part of such a worthy event!
