Zackary is loving baseball and I couldn't be happier about it. In fact, I'm such a big fan of the game, I'm playing on the ladies team this year!

fun! I love that summer days are finally here
Me too! We haven’t had very many warm ones yet, but I’ve been savouring every single one of them!

It was pretty gorgeous! They play from six until seven and it’s as bright as early afternoon; gosh I love summer!
Awesome that you are playing this year too! Baseball was never my thing, but get me on a soccer field or track events and I was in my glory. My youngest started gymnastics today. It is so fun seeing kids enjoy sports
I was so bad at soccer, but a few of the track events I was pretty darn good at! I agree, there’s something so awesome about seeing a child having fun playing a sport. It makes it hard to pick which one to focus on sometimes though; Zack would have loved to play soccer too!

Sweet! My childhood summers were all about baseball. My Dad used to coach both of my brothers’ teams. We lived, ate, and breathed baseball. LOL!
YES!! This was how we lived in the summer; my Mom played on a rec league, I played on the girls’ team and my younger brother played with the boys. My mom never did coach since she was so busy raising all of us, but we lived the sport all summer nonetheless!

What I love about this age is there aren’t actual games. They just take turns batting, catching, running the bases…it lets them practice being a team and learning the fundamentals without any pressure. When the time comes, though, I’ll be cheering like crazy every game! lol

Me too! It’s bar-none my favourite sport to play, though I do enjoy a good game of badminton too!
Fun!! I can’t wait to get our little one a glove. We’ll all be in the yard all the time once she figures it out.

Adorable. My little cousin is playing her first manager baseball and the gear looks so big compared to them.
It does, doesn’t it? My son’s team has adults helping out all over the field right now so no kid has to get too geared up. But even the batting helmets look huge sometimes! lol
Adorable! I miss tee-ball. My kids aren’t in to baseball. We are a football family, but I loved watching my cousins play.
