Fall in Love with Lilikin & Friends Plush Toys-Giveaway

I’ve travelled to a lot of different places but I’m proud to be able to call Canada my home. And while the stunning landscapes and comfortable way of life are a huge part of my country’s appeal, for me what really makes Canada special is its people. That’s one of the reasons I love featuring amazing Canadian companies run by amazing Canadian entrepreneurs on my site. And in honour of Canada Day, I have a very special company to feature today!

Lilikin & Friends is a brand new line of melancholy stuffed animals designed in Quebec, Canada by the incredibly talented Kimberley Cleland. These cute plush toys are a little gloomy but they’re also the best of friends! I received all three characters in the line to review: Lilikin the Cat, Mollycoddle the Rabbit and Eleven the Monkey.

Here’s the trio in person! Aren’t they just the sweetest?

When the toys arrived, I pulled them out eagerly. The Lilikin toys were cute on the website, but that was nothing compared to seeing them in real life; they are adorable! The toys are a full eighteen inches tall and have weighted paws so that they can sit quietly and brood or swing their arms and legs realistically when they’re being played with.

But the best part of these toys is their melancholy expressions, which tend to make me want to say, “Awwww!” every time I look at them both due to how cute and how pitiful they look. My boys have completely fallen in love with their animals and Benjamin especially just adores his “Liddigin.” He carries the plush cat everywhere and loves to have Lilikin sitting beside him whenever he stops to relax for a moment.

You may not be able to tell, but Lilikin and his friends are actually having a great time!
