The Nanking Cherries are ripe, so today I snacked while my husband took some pictures with his new camera. This is his favourite…
…and this is mine. Which do you like best?
If you have a Wordless Wednesday post, feel free to link it up below; I’d love to check it out!

I think both are lovely
Aww, thanks Tara!
Great photos!
Thanks Nicole; I love them too!
well look at you miss pretty pants…err…skirt!
Yup, I was totally showing off! LOL I love this skirt; it’s my “I’m adorable” skirt.
I can see why! so cute!
Really love the second photo. It catches everything perfectly!
Thanks Carli! I loved the red of the cherries and the way the sun just lit up the whole scene.
you’re so lucky you have cherries to yank!
I know it, Meryl! They’re about half the size of regular cherries so they’re not good for much except fresh eating but they are FABULOUS for that!
pretty dress.
Thanks Paula! It was a bargain find from Sears and it’s become a staple in my closet.
I love Cherries. Sad that we don’t have any fruit trees here. Thanks for the linky.

Aww, I’d be so sad without my fruit trees! We have cherries, plums and some very sparse raspberries that need to be moved to a different location, I think. I love it!
aww! sweet shots!
Thanks hon!
Both photos are great! You are beautiful so of course they would be
Mmm cherries!! I want to plant more fruit trees, we only have an apple tree.
Aww, thanks Jody!
An apple tree is one I’ve wished for; we have plums, cherries and raspberries but I just can’t get enough backyard fruit! LOL
Love cherries! Gotta plan a couple of these trees! Love your skirt!
Thanks Tammy! Yes, these little Nankings are the best, though I’d love to get a tree to grow full-sized cherries. Yeah, the prairies have those now!
Both photos are cute, but yours is a little better! Love having fresh fruit to pick, you are lucky!
Aww, thanks Laura! I edited mine a bit to bring out the red of the cherries and I really like the dream-like quality it has.
Lovely! You look amazing!
Thank you so much, Stephanie!
What beautiful pics, you’re so lovely Kat
Aww, thanks Julie! I do love how these turned out!
Our cherry blossoms were killed off by a cold snap after coming out too early. Sad
Both these pics are lovely
Oh no, that’s so sad Deb! Our cherries are needed to cross-pollinate with our plum tree so that’s actually the only reason we have them. They used to just get nibbled on for a few weeks when I was a girl but since my hubby and I bought the house we’ve been experimenting making them into wine and jam. I love them!
Those are both gorgeous pictures! We had a few nanking cherry bushes when I was growing up – we’d pick them, mom would juice them and then make jelly out of them.
Oh gosh, don’t they make the best jelly, Bonnie? I tried it for the first time a few years ago and fell in love!
I love cherries! wish I had a fruit tree
You should totally get one; fruit trees are the best! I’m not a fan of plants that don’t “do” anything.
Send some cherries my way pretty please.
You got it, Nolie!
