Now that kids are back in school, some of the problems that come with school interaction and friendships are also beginning once more and for tween and teen girls, those problems can be emotionally shattering. That’s why Discovery Girls has been on a mission to encourage self-confidence in young women for more than ten years. And if you have a young girl that’s back in school, the Discovery Girls Middle School Survival Guide set is a great way to start her year off on the right foot. Here’s a brief synopsis of the set:
Discovery Girls Middle School Survival Guides deliver the best strategies so girls can successfully deal with friendship troubles, embarrassing moments, life’s toughest problems, body issues, school pressures and much, much more. All of the books reinforce the power of girls to overcome disappointment, develop positive images about themselves, seek the right kind of help, talk to their parents and learn how to grow from failures.
The set contains four books: Friendship Hardship, Sticky Situations…and How to Get Through Them, Ask Ali: All the Advice You’ll Ever Need and My Worst Day…and How I Survived It. The books are designed for eight-year-old and older girls to help give them the advice and inspiration they need.
This set of books contains practical advice for young girls about how to deal with some of the most common trials and tribulations of adolescence. I especially loved Ask Ali: All the Advice You’ll Ever Need. I think one of the best ways for girls to feel better about themselves is to realize that other girls often have the same problems as they do. And Ali’s practical advice for tough times is sure to be helpful as well.
Discovery Girls wants your young woman to head into the school year with her head high, so the company is very generously offering one lucky Mommy Kat and Kids reader the complete set of The Discovery Girls Middle School Survival Guides, a $30 value! To enter to win, just leave a blog comment about which one of these books you think would be the most useful.
Being a young woman today can be a difficult task but Discovery Girls is there to make it easier by reminding young women that tough times have an end, true friendships endure tribulation and self-worth isn’t measured by appearance. Why not check out this book collection for yourself and inspire the tween or teen girl in your life to be all that she can be!
