Older Children Will Run and Play in Comfort with pediped Flex Footwear

This year Benjamin started playschool and he was so excited about it. Finally he got to have all the things his brother had: a backpack, a lunch box and, of course, a special pair of school shoes. So when pediped gave us the chance to review a pair of the new fall pediped Flex runners, I was thrilled.

When Benjamin was just a baby, his very favourite pair of shoes was a cute pair of pediped Originals shoes. He had worn those shoes for as long as he possibly could and so I had high hopes that he would love the pediped Flex shoes he received just as much.

Sure enough, when the shoes arrived, Benjamin was delighted by the stylish black and orange runners. He had a hard time waiting for school to start and was constantly asking to wear his runners outside when we went for walks. Finally, though, the big day arrived and we headed off to playschool with the pediped Flex Saturn runners tucked into Benjamin’s little backpack.

What makes pediped Flex footwear so perfect for toddlers and preschoolers is the unique Flex Fit System that lets the shoes grow a little with a child’s feet. When children are younger, the Flex Fit insole can be placed underneath the regular insole inside the shoe to make it a little smaller. Then as a child’s foot grows, the Flex Fit insole can be removed to add a little more room to the shoe.

Benjamin started out with the Flex Fit insole in the shoe but I soon could see that he was ready for it to come out. With the insole removed, the shoes fit him perfectly and I could tell that they were comfortable for him too just from watching him run around during gym time. The other bonus of this particular style was that it was incredibly lightweight, which made it great for a day of school. No matter how much activity Benjamin had in his day, his shoes were light enough that he could keep on going!

Pediped has lots of other great styles of shoes for both infants and older children including the pediped Originals for infants, the pediped Grip ‘n’ Go style for toddlers and the always popular pediped Flex line of shoes, runners and boots. But one thing that all pediped shoes have in common is a high quality and exceptionally comfortable design that kids will love.

The pediped shoes were the perfect choice for Benjamin’s playschool shoes; they have the best features for his growing feet with a look that lets him feel like a “big boy.” If you have a toddler or preschooler that needs a new pair of runners, check out the pediped Flex line for yourself and enjoy shoes that grow with your child!

Nice. I’m quite certain C pronates so I think I think we need this type of shoe for him (he cries at night because his knees hurts and I’ve noticed when he walks that his ankles roll in a bit). We had a pair when he was first learning to walk, but I didn’t know they made them for non-babies.
    Thanks

I agree, Chris, I knew about the baby shoes but I didn’t realize how large the sizing went. While I got these for my younger one, they have sizes that go right up to grade school. Hope your poor little one feels better! :(

Thanks for letting me know that they make for older children. I didn’t know that and have only seen the baby shoes in stores near me. My daughter pronates and well and we need something supportive, comfortable and durable for her now that she is in kindergarten

Oh I hope they help her, Cheryl! I love that pediped thinks beyond babies and realizes that children need proper, supporting footwear too.
