I am a woman that loves all things feminine, from cute dresses to new makeup products. But one of the beauty products I never really embraced was nail polish, mainly because I had the bad habit of biting my nails. After years, I’ve finally broken the habit and thanks to Nicole by OPI, I am quickly becoming a nail polish addict.
Nicole by OPI sent me samples from two of its hottest 2013 collections, the Modern Family Collection and the Selena Gomez Collection. I fell in love with the assortment of shades, which ranged from wearable soft pastels to vibrant glitters.
The Selena Gomez collection is comprised of 14 nail lacquers that includes shades such as confetti silver Stars at Night and hot pink Spring Break. The Modern Family Collection contains 14 shades including red violet Basking in Gloria and soft rose I Do De-Claire.
Since spring is almost here and sandals will soon become a part of my wardrobe once again, I decided to use the I Do De-Claire! and Alex By The Books shades from the Nicole by OPI Modern Family collection for a quick and easy pedicure.
I loved the smooth coverage of the shades; two coats provided brilliant colour. And while I did notice the drying time was a bit long compared to some of the other polishes I’ve used in the past, the finished results were worth the wait.
