Three years ago, I attended the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan on a special blogger trip with Ford Canada. I had the chance to see into the past of the Ford Motor Company while exploring the Henry Ford Museum, and then glance into the future as the Ford’s newest vehicle was unveiled for the first time. Of course, I also spent a bit of time admiring the many other gorgeous vehicles at the auto show too!
I came home from that trip with a new appreciation for the passion that Ford has for innovation, and for creating products that work for its customers. And over the years, I’ve seen that passion time and time again. From new eco-friendly innovations including using sustainable materials in car design to better safety for families with unique child-protecting seat belts, I’ve always been impressed to see just how much Ford listens to what matters most to its buyers.
That’s why I’m very excited to once again be heading back to Detroit with Ford for the 2016 NAIAS! I learned so much the last time I was in Detroit, and I’m sure that this time will be no exception. From January 10-12, follow along with me, the Ford Canada team and some other amazing Canadian bloggers by checking out the #FordNAIAS hashtag on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to experience some of that famous Ford passion along with us. And keep an eye out for some blog posts about the experience after the event too!
I’m not sure what this year’s show will have in store, but I’m sure that it will be informative, inspiring and lots of fun. And from what I’ve seen from Ford in the past, there will be plenty of surprises in store too! Stay tuned for live updates on the event and a recap of my experience in the coming weeks. I’m sure we’ll all be excited by what Ford has in the works for 2016!
