When I look for home décor items for my boys’ rooms, I don’t like always buying generic pictures of commercial characters if I can help it. A large poster of the latest superhero is okay, but it just doesn’t have the timeless appeal of less conventional artwork. So when Thumbtack Press sent me some information about its new UGLYDOLL art prints, I was intrigued. These vibrant prints of uniquely bizarre dolls had just the kind of timeless appeal that I love and I was delighted when I got to choose one to check out for myself.

After a lot of deliberation, I chose the Ice Bat print. I liked the way that the vibrant blue Ice Bat character is standing in the middle of the empty street and I thought the colours would go perfectly with Zackary’s room. When the print arrived, it was just as nice as it had looked on the site and had such rich, vibrant colours.
