Nourish Your Skin! Reader Reviews of the Schick Intuition Pure Nourishment Razor

Last month I had the chance to be one of the first Canadians to try the new Schick Intuition Pure Nourishment razor and I loved the sweet-smelling moisturizing bar that let me skip the shaving lotion in the shower. I was also able to give fifty of my fabulous readers the opportunity to try the razor as well and the reviews are in!

Plenty of readers loved the great smell of the shaving bar and noticed that shaving their legs was quicker without using shaving foam. Many also mentioned how effectively the razor moisturized their skin as they were shaving.

I love that there is no preparation except wetting the razor and the area to be shaved. My skin feels smooth and soft after using the razor. I have sensitive skin and after shaving I had no bumps, no cuts and no razor burn! I was especially pleased when I had no irritation after shaving my underarms as this is often a problem with other razors, even with shaving cream.

As I’m prone to dry skin, the moisturizing head is perfect for me and I was glad it had only a faint but pleasant fragrance. Running the razor over my legs felt more like rolling on body lotion than shaving. There was no pulling or drag at all. I was amazed how silky it felt and I got a very close, long lasting shave. This product will be a great convenience when I go camping this summer. All I have to do is dip the razor in a cup of water, pour water down my leg and shave, another cup of water to rinse – done! No messy gel or foam container to haul around.

I really liked this razor. Looking at it on the shelf, I never thought I would like it, and never had the chance to try it until now. It is really easy to use, and I was surprised at how well it performed without any shave cream being used. I also find that it takes less time to shave my legs than before, which is a happy thing because it’s such an onerous task to begin with. It left my legs feeling soft and smooth. I really like this razor, and it will probably be the one I use from now on.
