Like most kids today, my son loves video games, but I like to make sure that he balances his screen time with plenty of offline activities. I find activity books are a great choice for constructive entertainment and recently I got to review some very unique activity books from Lazoo.
I received Holes, Squiggles and Stickers to review. Each book contained about 40 pages and was printed on nice, thick paper. I liked how durable the books were; Zackary can be energetic with his books and I was glad to see that the Lazoo activity books would be able to stand up to his vigorous colouring.
I gave Zackary Holes first and I couldn’t wait to see how he liked it. This funny book used strategically placed holes in the pages and by scribbling around the holes and then turning the page, the shape of the hole creates a picture! From dots that turned into eyes, holes in a girl’s sweater that became apples or baseball hats that became cars, Zackary loved seeing what the holes would become when he turned the page!
Squiggles and Stickers were just as much fun, though I did keep a bit of an eye on Zackary’s activities when he was filling in the pages of the Stickers book. Like most kids, he loves stickers and can tend to get a little silly with them! All three books kept him entertained and I loved the way they encouraged imagination. Lazoo also offers clothing and toys featuring the fun characters from the activity books.
The activity books we received from Lazoo were easily the highest-quality and most original activity books I have ever seen. If you’re looking for a fun book that will keep your kids happily entertained, Lazoo activity books are a great choice. And with a price of less than eight dollars each, they’re an affordable choice too. Check out the collection for yourself!
