My first review item from Playtex Mommyville was the Playtex Insulator Straw Cups. With warmer days quickly approaching, I was very excited to test out these handy-looking cups. I received a two-pack of Insulator Straw Cups to review and my boys pounced on them as soon as the box was open. The cups had a fun truck design on bright red and blue backgrounds. Zackary decided to take the red cup and Benjamin chose the blue one. They were both eager to test out their fancy new cups, so I filled the cups with water and carefully screwed on the handy Twist ‘n Click Lids. These lids are so great for busy moms; when they give a slight click as you screw them on, it means the lid is sealed and the cup is officially leak-proof. I handed the cups to the boys and sent them into the living room.

Now when it comes to food or drinks, my boys are accident-prone. No matter how hard they try and no matter what types of preventative measures I take, plates fall, bowls tip and drink inevitably end up all over the floor. Because of that, I usually don’t allow drinks of any sort in the living room. I must admit that previously I had an issue with a different style of spill-proof straw cup that seemed to always leak liquid out of the straw after I filled it. I especially love using these cups for outdoor excursions or trips in the car. It’s so nice that they keep my boys’ drinks cold and I love that they are so easy to transport. The lids feature a handy sliding closure at the top that folds the straw away and keeps the cup sealed and the straw clean when we’re on the go. I adored being able to toss the cups into my purse and head out the door without a second thought!
