I’ve always been fascinated by the concept of facial brushes. My husband has two or three different toiletry bags to keep his shampoo, conditioner, razors, shaving accessories and cologne organized and separate from the rest of the family. But for the longest time, I was stuck using a small and crowded makeup bag to carry both my boys’ toothbrushes and personal care products as well as my own cosmetics, skincare and other bathroom accessories.
As a result, I have lately been favouring late night showers. Benjamin still wakes up in the middle of the night, but he is usually fairly consistent about his sleep and, even more importantly, my husband is home so I can rest easy knowing that if my baby does wake up, his father will be there to comfort him until I finish. Thanks to adopting this new nighttime showering routine, I finally have the chance to do something in the shower I haven’t done for over four years…relax!
