Some people may think the best thing about being a Kellogger blogger is adorable Kellogg’s Corn Flakes bowls and too-cute vintage Tony the Tiger t-shirts and I have to admit, those little perks are pretty sweet. But for me, the very best thing about being a part of the Kelloggers network is getting to test out all the newest cereals and snacks from Kellogg’s Canada as they’re released. About a month ago, I received a box full of new products to dig into and the boys and I were only too happy to do a little testing.
The first items Zackary and Benjamin reached for were the Kellogg’s Special K Crisps. We’ve had these snack bars containing only 100 calories before but the new Chocolate and Cinnamon Brown Sugar flavours promised to be a hit with the whole family. While the Chocolate Crisps were quite good, it was the Cinnamon Brown Sugar Crisps that I really loved. We enjoyed the bars as an afternoon snack over the next few days.
Our case of new products also had two boxes of new Kellogg’s Krave cereal. I had been dying to try this scrumptious chocolate cereal treat and so I was delighted to see it in the box. I am a confirmed Double Chocolate Krave addict and love having chocolate for breakfast whenever I feel like it while still getting whole grains and essential nutrients!
The final item in the box was the new Kellogg’s Special K Low Fat Granola. I hadn’t even heard of this product so I had no idea what to expect. But after the first bite, I was in heaven. I adore granola but most store-bought varieties are full of sugar and oil, making it a filling but not especially healthy breakfast choice. The Kellogg’s Special K Low Fat Granola contained five grams of fibre and just three grams of fat per serving and I loved having a granola I could feel good about eating every morning.
If you haven’t already, make sure to enter my giveaway to win FOUR boxes of new Kellogg’s Krave cereal! And the next time you’re in the store, why not try one of the new breakfast cereals or snacks from Kellogg’s? Whether you want a sensible snack or an indulgent yet good-for-you cereal, Kellogg’s has you covered!
