Becoming a mom is one of the biggest moments in a woman’s life and it’s one that leads to lots of questions. I had so much to learn when I gave birth last year but now, Huggies Canada and the new Huggies Mommy Answers community is helping expecting and new moms find the answers they need. If you’re going to be a first-time mom and you’re feeling a little lost, you’re not alone.
I received the most adorable New Mom Survival Toolkit from Huggies especially for new moms and expecting parents. It contained all kinds of new mom essentials including a pillow, wipes, diapers, slippers and some handy cheat sheets for new parents!
The slippers came at the perfect time! Winter is coming and we don’t have carpet in our house so of course our floors are always cold. I put them on and haven’t taken them off since! I only wish I could have had them when Chase was born. We stayed in the hospital for almost a week and we were totally unprepared (since he was a week and a half early). Pregnant moms, make sure slippers are on your list for the hospital, you will want them!
I haven’t used Huggies wipes before, but I think we will be starting to do so. Huggies Natural Care Wipes are thicker than other wipes we’ve tried so that you don’t have to fold them in half before you use them if you’ve got a big mess. Plus they come in a cute tub so they look nice sitting on your change table. They are hypoallergenic, fragrance and alcohol free and are made soft with fewer added ingredients than other wipes.
I also got a great pillow that I wish I could have had when I was still carrying! Pregnant moms will understand when I say that it’s so much easier to sleep when you can put something between your knees. But most pillows are too big and end up getting in the way as soon as you move or fall asleep. This one is big enough to do the job but small enough that it doesn’t get in the way when you sleep, the perfect compromise.
All of our goodies came in an awesome diaper bag (something which we didn’t actually have yet, surprisingly), which has come in very handy as Chase has started going to daycare and we need to pack a bag for him every day.
I mentioned some cheat sheets earlier; any expectant moms, listen close! Huggies has started a new forum called Huggies Mommy Answers. It`s the perfect place to go for any questions you might have about getting pregnant, being pregnant and having a newborn. And if the forum doesn’t have the answer to your question, you can ask the Huggies Mommy Answers community and other moms who have been there before can help you out! Check them out at www.huggies.com/mommyanswers or on the Huggies Canada Facebook page.
Huggies wants to help you enter motherhood prepared and so the company is very generously offering one lucky Mommy Kat and Kids reader their own Huggies New Mom Survival Toolkit just like the one I received containing a diaper bag, Huggies Little Snugglers diapers, Huggies Natural Care wipes and a variety of other first-time mom essentials! To enter to win, just check out the Huggies Mommy Answers forum and leave a blog comment about an article you found interesting.
Becoming a new mom is exciting but it can be scary too. Kimberly-Clark’s head of ecommerce/digital/whatever is a verifiable home wrecker to homes with babies! This is true, they know it and they let this man sell diapers! He uses his position of authority for personal gain all day. He is so unethical, and it’s so widespread, it’s amazing he has a job! Do not support Kimberly-Clark. DEFEND MOTHERS.
Ruined says
So, Mommy Answers, what is the answer to the question, WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE HEAD OF DIGITAL AND ECOMMERCE AT KIMBERLY CLARK HOME WRECKS A HOME WITH BABIES AND LEAVES THE MOTHER SUICIDAL? Just curious.
