I love accessorizing and my boys have inherited that same love. Zackary and Benjamin both have a strong opinion when it comes to clothing and they take a great deal of pleasure in picking out clothing that they especially like.
But while trendy shirts and cool jeans are easy to find, accessories for boys are a little scarce. That’s why I was thrilled when the Canadian momtrepreneur company House of Koopslie invited me to review its adorable hats.
These hats are such great accessories for children of all ages. With a large variety of colours and screen-printed designs to suit different styles, they are a fun and easy way of personalizing an outfit.
I knew my boys would be much happier if they could pick out their own hats, so we spent some time looking through the Fall 2012 collection so that they could choose their favourites.
Monika, the fabulous woman behind House of Koopslie, very generously gave all three of us the chance to try a hat, so Zackary chose black with a blue car, Benjamin chose blue with a green dinosaur and I chose black with a cute pink fabric rose. When the hats arrived, we all had to pull them on right away!
Benjamin liked his hat but it was Zackary that was the biggest fan of the fun “fall toques.” He wanted to wear his car hat to school every day before it started getting too cold for the thin material and even now that winter has suddenly arrived, he often wears the hat at home around the house.
The hats are made of nice, stretchy cotton and are incredibly comfortable. I have to admit; I quite like wearing mine around the house sometimes too!
Overall, I found the House of Koopslie hats to be a great way to add extra flair to a little boy’s outfit and I love that there are sizes to fit everyone from newborns to adults.
