Celebrate Garlic Month with Sabra Roasted Garlic Hummus-Giveaway

I am a huge fan of garlic and I know I’m not the only one. It’s funny to think that such a pungent food could have such a devoted following, but people around the world know that everything’s better with garlic. In fact, the whole month of April has even been dubbed “Garlic Month!” In honour of the occasion, here are six facts about garlic that you might not know:

  • Garlic is a member of the lily family.
  • The smell of garlic can be removed from your hands by running them under cold water while rubbing a stainless steel object.
  • China consumes the most garlic per capita per year; it is also the leader in garlic production, growing a staggering 46 billion pounds per year.
  • Elephant Garlic isn’t actually garlic at all it is a leek
  • Garlic was so highly prized in the ancient world that it was even found in Tutankhamen’s tomb.
  • The word garlic comes from the Anglo-Saxon words ‘gar’ meaning spear and ‘lac’ meaning plant.

April on Disney Junior is Full of Fun with Quest for the Crystal Mickey and New Series Henry Hugglemonster #DisneyJuniorMom

Nobody knows how to celebrate spring better than a child and to pump up the excitement in your house this month, Disney Junior has some fabulous new features that you won’t want to miss!

henry hugglemonster series premiereFirst up is the special 30-minute episode of Quest for the Crystal Mickey on Sunday, April 21 at 12pm EST. Plunderin’ Pete has snatched the legendary Crystal Mickey statue from the Clubhouse and Kansas City Mickey is determined to get it back! Your kids will love helping K.C. Mickey avoid traps and overcome obstacles to get the Crystal Mickey back just in time!

Then, on April 21 at 12:30pm EST, right after the special Quest for the Crystal Mickey episode, Disney Junior is debuting a brand new series: Henry Hugglemonster! Henry is a typical five-year-old middle child that loves playtime and has a tendency to blurt out the first thing that pops into his head. But Henry isn’t quite an ordinary five-year-old…he’s a monster!
