I think almost all us busy parents occasionally struggle with getting our children to eat breakfast before the family rushes out the door in the morning. It can be frustrating at times, but it’s nothing compared to the anguish of Canadian parents that are forced to send their children off to school with nothing to eat at all.
Approximately one in every ten Canadian children is at risk of starting their day on an empty stomach and in such a wealthy country, that’s a statistic that simply shouldn’t exist.
