I am not a big fan of cleaning but with two active boys in the house, it’s something I have to make sure I do every day. Just one day of skipping chores inevitably means that I have to deal with dirt tracked into the house, toys all over the floor and sticky fingerprints on the furniture. Of course, working from home and taking care of my boys means that I really don’t have much time to clean. That’s why over the last few years, I’ve learned that multi-tasking throughout the day helps ensure that mess stays minimized. These three tips are little things that let me end a busy day with my house still looking great!
1) Clean Morning and Night
One of the easiest ways to make sure that my house is organized is simply to take 15 minutes both first thing in the morning and last thing at night to tidy up. Morning is my time to make the beds and pick up the toys that my early-bird boys tend to pull out for a little before-school playtime.
