Help Kids Master Math with a Fun Rounding Race Game

July 5, 2017 by Kathryn 3 Comments

For many children, math can be one of the trickier school subjects to really master. If you have a child that’s struggling to learn math, take advantage of the extra free time in summer to help him learn rounding with decimals in a fun way!

This simple game is fast-paced and exciting whether you let your children compete against one another or just set a timer to see how quickly your little one can answer the questions!

Join the Hellmann’s Real Food Movement and Help Teach Your Kids Where Their Food Comes From!

August 15, 2016 by Kathryn 12 Comments

This post was brought to you by Hellmann’s® and JONES Voice.

When it comes to the food I feed my family, I’m passionate about fresh, real and wholesome ingredients. Jeremy and I both love cooking and we know that no matter what type of new dish we’re trying, using products made with high-quality ingredients makes good food even better. That’s why Hellmann’s Real mayonnaise is a must in our house. And living in Saskatchewan means that we know quite a bit about the work that goes into putting good food onto the table.

But not everyone has that same insider knowledge about the food we eat each day, and that’s why Hellmann’s created the Real Food Movement®! Designed to help families learn more about how the food we eat goes from the farm to the table, this campaign encourages everyone to think about the work that goes into the food we love.

Making Memories with a Fall Family Tree Canvas Craft

October 8, 2015 by Kathryn 50 Comments

When I take a moment or two to watch my boys, I’m always amazed by how quickly they’re growing. The years are slipping by faster and faster, and I know soon these precious childhood moments will be gone. In our fast-paced lives, taking time to enjoy my boys’ childhood is more important than ever, but it’s not always easy with so much on the go!

Luckily, if there’s one thing that I’ve learned as a parent, it’s that it doesn’t take much to make an ordinary evening special. A cool activity and a fun treat can take a regular weeknight and turn it into a special occasion. And recently my family decided to do just that on an ordinary Wednesday, with a little help from McCain Deep ‘n Delicious!

The program has been a phenomenal success so far and now Coca-Cola wants to make sure that the next generation is raised with a passion for protecting the environment that will ensure the future of the polar bears for years to come. [Read more…]
