Kick Off the Christmas Season with Holiday Specials from Disney Junior #DisneyJuniorMom

I love absolutely everything about Christmas, from the music to the lights to the food to the decorations. And one of my very favourite Christmas activities is watching Christmas specials with Zackary and Benjamin. I have to admit, I don’t actually watch a lot of television for the most part. But when December rolls around, I can’t resist spending a cozy evening watching fun holiday shows with my boys.

Disney Junior is making that easier than ever with a full month of holiday content, and I can’t wait for it to start! The fun kicks off this Saturday, December 7th at 11:00am EST with a special extended episode of Mickey’s Magical Christmas: Snowed In at the House of Mouse, with an encore presentation on Sunday, December 8th at 3:50pm EST. The best part is that the special features guest appearances by Winnie the Pooh, Aladdin, Snow White and other Disney friends! Disneyland Welcomes Mickey and the Magical Map to the Fantasyland Theatre

The immortal Shakespeare once said “all the world’s a stage” and I can think of no man that embraced that sentiment more than Walt Disney. The visionary that created the first animated cartoon with sound was also known to commonly refer to his beloved amusement park, Disneyland, as a show. Recently I visited Disneyland for the first time and having seen what an important role live performances have throughout the park, I can’t help but think the description is an incredibly accurate one.

On May 24, Disneyland highlighted its love of live performances in a very special way: with the world premiere of the new live show Mickey and the Magical Map. The show also marked the grand reopening of the Fantasyland Theatre and being in the audience for that performance was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

April on Disney Junior is Full of Fun with Quest for the Crystal Mickey and New Series Henry Hugglemonster #DisneyJuniorMom

Nobody knows how to celebrate spring better than a child and to pump up the excitement in your house this month, Disney Junior has some fabulous new features that you won’t want to miss!

henry hugglemonster series premiere First up is the special 30-minute episode of Quest for the Crystal Mickey on Sunday, April 21 at 12pm EST. Plunderin’ Pete has snatched the legendary Crystal Mickey statue from the Clubhouse and Kansas City Mickey is determined to get it back! Your kids will love helping K.C. Mickey avoid traps and overcome obstacles to get the Crystal Mickey back just in time!

Then, on April 21 at 12:30pm EST, right after the special Quest for the Crystal Mickey episode, Disney Junior is debuting a brand new series: Henry Hugglemonster! Henry is a typical five-year-old middle child that loves playtime and has a tendency to blurt out the first thing that pops into his head. But Henry isn’t quite an ordinary five-year-old…he’s a monster!
