For Canada Day this year, my boys and I headed to Wascana Park in Regina, SK to enjoy the festivities, including a performance by the fabulous Splash ‘N Boots! As if that wasn’t exciting enough, they indulged us with a photo opp too!
Stunning. That’s really the only word that was in my mind after witnessing the Cirque du Soleil Quidam performance at the Brandt Centre in Regina, SK last night. The show was a beautiful marriage of imaginative set design, humour, gorgeous costumes and stunning physical feats that had me on the edge of my seat from the opening moment.
If you have a Wordless Wednesday post, feel free to link it up below; I’d love to check it out!

On Tuesday April 3 and Wednesday April 4, the must-see show to catch is Seussical, the Musical performed by the Do It With Class Young People’s Theatre Inc. at the Conexus Arts Centre. Do It With Class is Regina’s only production company made up entirely of youth. The organization lets talented young performers between the ages of 10 and 19 develop their skills in a range of performing arts and their shows are said to be phenomenal. My family will be getting the chance to review the performance on Tuesday and needless to say, I am very excited to check out the show!
If you’re in Regina or the surrounding area and are looking for a fun, family-friendly activity, why not support this great organization and check out the show? There is a matinee and an evening performance each day so even families with younger children can enjoy the experience. Tickets are available on the Conexus Arts Centre website, so get your tickets now! You won’t want to miss this great youth performance celebrating the work of the immortal Dr. Seuss!
