While I don’t mind a glass of milk now and again, I do love the creamy, delicious taste of non-dairy Silk beverages. The smooth taste is just so satisfying and being able to choose from fun flavours including vanilla and chocolate is an added bonus. But while I knew just how tasty Silk beverages were, I didn’t know that buying Silk instead of milk could actually benefit the environment too!
Silk beverage generates 49% less greenhouse gas emissions and uses 76% less water than dairy milk, so buying Silk instead of milk will be sure to leave the earth smiling. And as if that wasn’t awesome enough, Silk Canada has recently partnered with Trees Canada, supporting the organization with a donation of $25,000 to help plant more trees and make our world a little greener!
