It used to be fairly common for women to dread some of the major age milestones in their lives, whether it was the experience of saying goodbye to young adulthood when turning thirty or officially entering “old age” when turning sixty. But for years now that attitude has been shifting and personally, I couldn’t be happier about it. In fact, 90% of Canadian women believe that age will continue to become less and less relevant to them as time progresses. And that’s the motivation behind the new Olay Ageless campaign. While there may be some aspects of our lives that act as “age giveaways,” feeling young is what’s truly important to today’s women!
On a recent trip to Mexico, I learned that my boys were a bit of an age giveaway for me. When giving a business card to someone on a press trip, a fellow blogger noticed my blog name. “You’re a mother?” he exclaimed in surprise. I said that yes, I had two boys that were (at the time) eight and five. “You must have had them very young,” he said.
