One of the ways that I keep my boys busy during the summer is with books and this year Scholastic Canada has some great choices for preschoolers and young school-age children. I received Some Dads and Zoe Gets Ready to review recently and my boys and I sat down to read them together.

Since Father’s Day had just passed, we decided to read Some Dads by Nick Bland first. This simple rhyming picture book has fun illustrations of animal dads and their children. From sporty dads to loud dads, every child is sure to find a dad described in the book that reminds them of their own father.
