Canada Day at Wascana Park in Regina, SK

For Canada Day this year, my boys and I headed to Wascana Park in Regina, SK to enjoy the festivities, including a performance by the fabulous Splash ‘N Boots! As if that wasn’t exciting enough, they indulged us with a photo opp too!

The boys weren’t sure how to feel about meeting Splash ‘N Boots in person!

The only thing better than taking pictures with Splash ‘N Boots is listening to their show! As usual, it was high-energy, interactive and lots of fun!

Splash ‘N Boots shows are so much fun! Dancing, laughing, kids on stage, impromptu performance of Little Bunny Foo-foo…anything goes!

After that, we left to enjoy some pizza and ice cream, and then came back just in time for the fireworks.

The boys were a little impatient waiting for it to get dark, but they soon made friends with a little girl sitting behind us and spent the hour before dusk playing with her. Soon, though, the show started!

This was one of the first pictures that Curtis got of the show. I love how he captured it as it was spreading across the sky.

A thunderstorm cut the show short, but as we were running for our vehicle, Curtis managed to get this shot of the final fireworks being detonated.

This wasn’t the first time we’ve spent Canada Day at Wascana Park and it certainly won’t be the last. It’s always lots of fun for all ages!
