Raisin Pecan Sticky Toasts
A sweetly simple breakfast or snack.
- 4 slices Sun-Maid Raisin Bread
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoons chopped pecans
HEAT oven to 425 F.
PLACE raisin bread on a baking sheet.
COMBINE butter, brown sugar, honey and pecans.
SPREAD 1 tablespoon nut mixture on each raisin bread slice.
BAKE 5 to 6 minutes until top is bubbly and edges toasted. Cool on a wire rack 5 minutes.
The toasts featured an optional orange glaze that I decided to omit. The blend of honey and brown sugar was all the sweetness I needed for this decadent treat!
The toasts were absolutely scrumptious and took just a few minutes to make. For more great recipes featuring Sun-Maid Raisin Bread, be sure to check out the sunmaid.ca website.
