With summer here and kids home from school, finding a way to provide a little extra entertainment is always a good thing. And this summer, NCircle Entertainment, HIT Entertainment and Fisher-Price have a very special set of Mike the Knight products that will be sure to keep younger children captivated!
Mike the Knight is the new hit Nick Jr. television show that emphasises skills such as problem solving and making responsible choices to its younger audience. My three-year-old is a huge fan of the show but even my seven-year-old loves watching it sometimes too. It’s always a plus for me when I can find a quality show that both my boys enjoy.
The newest DVD collection of the show was released just in time for summer and it’s already been a hit with my boys. Featuring five fun-and-learning-filled adventures, Mike the Knight: Knight in Training finds Mike on missions to serve and protect the Kingdom of Glendragon. Whether it’s locating the perfect birthday surprise for his sister Evie or helping others find their way back home, every day is an adventure with Mike and his friends! The all-new Glendragon Matching Game, as well as Meet Mike’s Friends! music videos and a karaoke version of the theme song are also included all for a retail price of just $12.99.
But that’s not all! The new DVD was released at the same time as a new line of Mike the Knight toys from Fisher-Price and a new activity book from Simon and Schuster! We received a prize pack containing the DVD, the Welcome to Mike’s World activity book and a Fisher-Price Mike the Knight Sword & Shield to review and Benjamin couldn’t have been happier.
My boys love to draw and colour so we have quite a few different activity books in our house, but it’s not often that Benjamin gets one just for him. He had a great time colouring the different pictures in the book and he was especially excited when he discovered the centre of the book contained a poster for his room. I placed it on his wall right away and he was so proud that he showed it off to everyone that visited over the next few days. The activity book has a retail price of just $4.99 so it’s a great affordable choice for summer fun.
Then it was time for my youngest son to sit down and enjoy the DVD with his new sword and shield in hand! Mike the Knight: Knight in Training was lots of fun and has actually become Benjamin’s favourite choice for the time being. But the Fisher-Price Sword & Shield, which is available for a suggested retail price of only ten dollars, was the favourite item in the package. Benjamin was so proud of having his very own sword and shield just like Mike the Knight and carried it everywhere for days. I had plenty of fun listening to him make up stories and adventures as he ran around the house with his new toys.
NCircle Entertainment, HIT Entertainment and Fisher-Price have teamed up to offer an amazing Mike the Knight Royal Summer Giveaway! One lucky Mommy Kat and Kids reader will receive the new Mike the Knight: Knight in Training DVD, the Welcome to Mike’s World activity book from Simon & Schuster and the Mike the Knight Sword & Shield from Fisher-Price, a $25 total value! To enter to win, just leave a blog comment about who would be receiving this prize pack if you won.
I love that this fun Mike the Knight DVD, book and toy set help to keep my youngest son entertained during long summer days and Benjamin is excited to have special activities that are just for him. If you have a child that loves Mike the Knight, check out the newest products for yourself and get ready for lots of knightly summer fun!
