Three Easy Tips to Keep Your Family Safe Online

November 1, 2013 by Kathryn 1 Comment

If there’s one thing that I’m not looking forward to as my boys get older, it’s monitoring their online activity. Making sure our families are safe online is hard work, but it’s so important! My oldest son is quickly approaching an age at which I will have to ensure that he is aware of online dangers and so while I may not look forward to the day, I am prepared for it! And this month, as part of the Master Lock Live Secure Safety Squad, I’ll be sharing my top three tips for keeping your family safe online!

Just like so many things in life, asking questions and using common sense and intuition are often the best ways to stay safe online, and it’s a lesson that I’ll certainly be teaching my boys as they get older and start spending more time online. The Internet is such an amazing place when it’s explored properly and I can’t wait to show my boys how much information is available to them at the touch of a button. With handy tools like the Master Lock Vault and a little responsibility, there is so much to see, do, learn and explore online!
