I love making Christmas decorations at home and with the right materials, they can look every bit as good as store-bought decorations too! This year, HP Canada challenged me to create gift tags, decorations and cards using some of the easy Print at Home options from Snapfish that would add professional style to my décor with the great homemade touch I loved!
To help me with my quest, I received an assortment of HP products including the HP Envy 5530 eAll-In-One Smartphone and Tablet Printer. This printer features wireless connectivity and is web connected with access to HP printables to make holiday printing fun and easy. I decided to design a Christmas card using pictures of Zackary and Benjamin on our recent trip to Beaches Negril in Jamaica. The templates at Snapfish made designing the card so easy! I just chose the photos I wanted, inserted them into the template and customized the text and photos as I wished.
Then it was time to print! Snapfish offers two great options for printing: traditional browser printing and HP Easy Print. Even better, by downloading the HP ePrint app to my HP Slate 7 tablet, I can print directly from the tablet to my printer! Printing out the cards with Snapfish was so quick and easy, and I ended up making a variety of different cards just for fun. I loved how easy customizing the pictures was!
But there’s much more than just Christmas cards on the Snapfish website! I fell in love with the adorable Woodland Christmas printable decorations and I especially loved the idea of printing 3D gift tags. I printed out the gift tags, a centerpiece and letters for Santa on HP brochure paper and then cut them out and assembled them. It took less than an hour and made my table look so pretty and festive!
I loved how easy it was to create an entire themed table using the Snapfish Print at Home printables and my new HP Envy 5530 Smartphone and Tablet Printer. And I especially loved that the printer let me easily access printables so that I could start crafting and decorating whenever I felt the whim.
Do you have some great holiday memories you want to capture and share this Christmas? HP Canada is very generously offering one lucky Mommy Kat and Kids reader their very own HP Slate 7 tablet, a $149 value! To enter to win, just leave a blog comment about how you would use the Slate 7 tablet to make every holiday memorable in the new year.
Getting my home holiday ready with HP and Snapfish was easier than I ever would have expected. I loved how much fun it was to create my own gift tags and table décor, and making photo cards was so easy that I was even able to personalize them for different members of my family! Christmas may just be days away, but feeling prepared is no problem with HP here in my home to help!

I would take pictures with this tablet for the holidays. Plus I would put the kids apps on it to make travelling to the inlaws much easier too!
it would be so great to communicate online with family overseas
I would use my tablet for finding recipes for baking goodies.
I would use it to play games with the kids and take videos. We spend a lot of time in the hospital with the kids so this will help us keep them occupied during that time!!
I wold use the tablet to get my kids to stop fighting over the laptop, giving me less headaches and more chances to actually enjoy the Christmas season.
I would use it to help organize all the photos I took : )
It would be great for my pics & videos!
