DreamWorks Turbo Zooms onto Blu-ray and DVD this Christmas

December 11, 2013 by Kathryn 52 Comments

There are so many great animated movies for children these days, but once in a while, one comes along that’s extra special. This year, DreamWorks Turbo took North America by storm and became a hit with children and adults alike, and now the movie is finally available on Blu-ray and DVD just in time for holiday fun! Here’s a brief synopsis:

turboFrom the creators of Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda comes the biggest – and funniest – animated adventure of the year! Along with his streetwise snail crew and new human friends, Turbo, an underdog snail, takes on the biggest challenge ever to make their dreams come true.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I sat down to watch this movie with my boys, and I actually expected a movie about a snail racing other snails. The reality was much better and I was soon caught up in the story of Turbo’s quest to win the Indy 500. This movie is packed with humour and surprises that had me enjoying the movie from beginning to end.

And my boys loved it just as much. This movie takes the idea of never giving up when trying to achieve your dreams to new levels…after all, who would ever think a snail could compete against race cars? With plenty of laughs, lots of excitement and a fun and outrageous plot that kept our whole family entertained, this movie was a definite hit in our house!

For holiday family fun, Turbo is a great choice for both kids and adults. Grab a copy today and plan a family movie night to unwind during the busy holiday season and enjoy a little down time. You’re sure to have a laughter-filled night watching Turbo strive to achieve his dreams!
