Little Girls Celebrate Canada’s Diversity with Maplelea Girls Dolls

One of the things I love so much about Canada is its diversity, and that’s why I’ve always loved Maplelea Girls. These large and realistic dolls are instantly appealing to both children and parents because of their wholesome look and realistic body type. But even better, each of the Maplelea Girls dolls has a unique personality based on one of the Canadian provinces!

I was lucky enough to receive a Maplelea Girl doll to review recently, and after a lot of deliberation, I decided on Taryn. My oldest niece has a birthday coming up and even though she lives in Saskatchewan, we have a lot of extended family in British Columbia, so I thought a doll from that province would be a fun choice. And Taryn’s light brown hair and pale skin even match Anna’s looks!

But most of all, it’s the personality of this doll that appealed to me. Each doll has an included journal that features some of the Maplelea Girl’s hobbies, passions and dreams. The artistic and outdoorsy Taryn suits my own little niece perfectly and I’m sure that Anna will have so much fun with her mini counterpart!

There are six Maplelea Girls in all, hailing from Manitoba to Toronto to Nunavut and each with their own distinctive personalities. And with tons of fun outfits and accessories for each doll, they’re sure to provide any little girl with hours of entertainment! There are even some child-sized outfit choices available so that little girls can dress in the same clothes as their Maplelea Girl doll!

These proudly Canadian dolls are such a great gift for a special little girl in your life and with all the different dolls to choose from, you’re sure to find one whose appearance and personality appeals to your child. Read about the different Maplelea Girls on the website and find one that’s a perfect friend for your Canadian girl!

  4. My daughter has Taryn and loves her to bits. I love how individual each doll is and that it represents different regions and heritage in canada.
