There are few feelings more horrible than being the victim of a crime, even when it’s a fairly minor one. Living in a small town means that for the most part, I’ve been protected from that feeling but even in a more rural area there is still a need for crime prevention. In fact, my son and I woke up one morning this summer to find that our bikes had been stolen in the night. While my son’s bike was later recovered, mine is still missing and I still remember how upsetting that day was.
