Best Thai Restaurant – PAI Northern Thai Kitchen

Hugely popular with locals and tourists alike, PAI has two locations in both uptown and downtown Toronto, and is a top destination for food-lovers.

There are a variety of Thai specialties to choose from and literally something for everyone. Keep it simple with a spicy Thai curry, or get a little fancy with the Pad Thai Lobster.

With both vegan and gluten-free options available, you’re sure to find a new dish to love at this must-visit restaurant. And don’t forget to finish off the meal with a refreshing Sapporo beer or a Thai iced tea!

Best French Restaurant – ICI Bistro

This quaint bistro restaurant in the Windsor Arms Hotel offers delectable French dishes with a modern twist that will be sure to satisfy the most discriminating taste buds.

Those that crave classic cuisine will want to try the ICI Steak Tartare; the decadent Borderlaise version features oysters, caviar and potato. And the Lobster Bisque is a must for seafood fans.

But it’s the ICI Signature Souffle, available in either Chocolate or Grand Marnier, that’s always guaranteed to win rave reviews. Just make sure to order it early; these freshly-made delicacies take about twenty minutes to prepare.

Best Italian Restaurant – Biagio

For classic Italian delicacies, there’s no better destination than the Biagio Ristorante. While the clean and elegant look of the restaurant is appealing all on its own, it’s the decadent homemade pasta dishes that ensure you’ll want to come back again and again.

For a hearty dish, try the Strozzapreti Romagnoli, hand-rolled pasta with sweet sausage, spinach and parmigiano.

If you’re craving something lighter, try the simple and delicious Grigliata Mista, a variety of fresh seafood grilled with garlic butter, lemon, white wine and olive oil.

And if you’re visiting in the summer, eating on the gorgeous patio is a must.

Best North American Restaurant – 360

A visit to Toronto isn’t really complete without a visit to the revolving restaurant at the top of the CN Tower. And while the view is certainly a major reason that 360 The Restaurant is such a hot destination, the food itself is just as impressive.

Featuring fresh, regional ingredients prepared with contemporary flavors, the dining experience is uniquely Ontario.

The current winter menu features delicacies including House Cured Duck Breast with Upper Canada Ricotta Cheese, Braised Ontario Lamb Shank with Buddha Hand Lemon and a trio of maple syrup-based desserts.

No matter which type of dining experience you’re craving, you’ll be able to find a top Toronto restaurant to satisfy you.

And these four top foodie destinations are ones that offer something for everyone, whether you’re on a romantic getaway, a family vacation or a culinary exploration of the city.
