I do collect the points, although last year I misplaced my card and thus didn’t use it and then I lost all my points due to inactivity. I only found out when I found my card and used it again and my points total reflected only my most recent purchase. I was very sad to have to start again since I had earned a LOT of points prior to this happening. :-(
