Cruising in Style in the 2017 Ford Fusion Titanium

November 22, 2016 by Kathryn 18 Comments

With my old Ford Taurus starting to get a bit outdated, my husband and I have recently been browsing potential new vehicles for our family. So, when Ford gave me the chance to try the new 2017 Ford Fusion Titanium, I jumped at the chance to see how it performed as a potential new family vehicle.

Right off the bat, I could see that the Ford Fusion Titanium had a lot of features I liked. The size of the car was perfect; it felt nice and roomy but still drove and handled like a compact vehicle. The boys had plenty of space to stretch out in the back seat and since I was planning to use the car on a three-hour drive to drop off my boys with their dad for the weekend, I knew the space would be appreciated!

This car boasts so many features to make driving as safe and comfortable as possible. A few of my favourites were the car’s brand new rotary gear dial shift that let me shift the car into drive, reverse and neutral with the turn of a dial, the Pre-Collision Assist that helped alert me to a possible collision with a pedestrian or vehicle, and the Lane-Keeping System, which alerted me if the car started to drift out of my current lane.

All the safety features loaded into the 2017 Ford Fusion Titanium make it a great choice for long drives like the one I was making. And with SIRIUS Satellite Radio for me and multiple charging options for the boys’ favourite devices, we were entertained every minute of our journey! Finally, comfort-enhancing options like heated and cooled seats and individual climate control for driver and passenger ensured everyone was riding in comfort.

To top it all off, the car boasts Ford’s popular EcoBoost Engine for superior fuel economy and the SYNC 3 system that lets drivers control climate, entertainment, hands-free phone options and GPS on one convenient touch-screen. And with voice commands available as well, there’s no need to take my hands off the wheel or my eyes off the road.

Personally, I think my favourite thing about the Ford Fusion Titanium is its size. This vehicle is the perfect everyday driver, with room for the whole family and a large load of groceries, while still being conveniently sized for zipping around the city. Fun and luxurious to drive, it would be a great commuter car as well! The car offers a great combination of performance, safety and comfort in a style that any parent would be excited to show off. If you’re considering a new family car, take one for a test drive today!

This car’s assets read like a driver’s dream list. It has every feature that I would like in a car-roominess, heated and cooled seats, economy of fuel use, brakes that automatically stop in front of obstacles, warnings when you veer out of your lane and on and on. It looks wonderful as well.
