My boys are both old enough that they’re pretty much independent when it comes to bathroom routines. From using the toilet to brushing their teeth, they don’t really need Mom’s help anymore. (Though their aim sometimes could use some work!) Building that independence has taken time and effort, especially when it was time to brush teeth. So having innovative ways to get my sons involved in their personal care was something that I really appreciated.

Slow start with my toddler but we are making it fun. I have stickers ready confetti for the first flush celebration, and toys and treats., I let him play with the potty its not used yet so he can sit on it when he is comfortable even inherent use it so that he can get familiar and not feel scared or pressured.
Be patient…accidents will happen and use a reward system everyday theres no accidents
Make potty training fun, celebrate everytime they use the toilet so they will want to keep going :)
We use singing while brushing my daughters teeth, she loves when we sing to her!
My granddaughter is trained but has accidents when she naps, have to remind them to go potty first.
We used stickers for rewards when my other kids were younger. now its the 2 yrs ols turn – we will see how it works with her!

we sang songs and had an electric tooth brush for my girls. toilet training I had dollarama toys in a treasure box everytime they went they got a prize. It was such a hit my oldest went over 5 times a day to get prizes lol. my youngest trained very early watching her sister.
My daughter lets me brush and floss her teeth much easier when I sing songs to her.
Make it fun, don’t rush it and use stickers for rewards!
We are about to get started for the potty trainning. My daugther is starting to ask to go at the potty sicne she is seing her friends at day care doing it…
As for the thooth brushing, I let her choose her own tooth brush and she is always excited to use it :)
