Nickelodeon Favorites: Summer Vacation DVD-Review and Giveaway

Summer is here and kids are gearing up for fun! But every parent knows that having some great entertainment on hand for when kids get bored is always a good decision too! Nickelodeon is ready to help with a new collection of summer-themed favourites for preschoolers on its latest DVD Nickelodeon Favorites: Summer Vacation. Here’s a brief synopsis:

It’s time for a summer vacation with your Nickelodeon friends! Hit the beach (and save the day) with Dora the Explorer and the Wonder Pets! Visit Rescue Ranch with Diego and Alicia! Celebrate at summer parties with the Yo Gabba Gabba gang and Kai lan, and pack up for a car trip with Blue and friends! Now that’s a summer full of super play dates!

This fun DVD has six sensational episodes all with a summer or vacation theme. I definitely found the DVD to be a festive one; from road trips to dance parties, there is a very energetic feel to the episodes. My personal favourites in this collection were the Wonder Pets! episodes because of the exotic locations. From Cancun to Hawaii, the helpful little animals really got to do some travelling while helping out animals in the shows!

My two boys watched this DVD with their almost-four-year-old friend Jocelyn and just like the last time they sat down to watch a Nickelodeon Favorites DVD, they all had a blast. The kids definitely appreciated the summer theme of the DVD and as soon as they were done watching, Zackary and Jocelyn headed outside to spend the rest of the day enjoying some summer adventures of their own in the backyard!

Nickelodeon Favorites: Summer Vacation is a fun and engaging DVD with lots of energetic episodes for little ones. For some amusing summer entertainment for younger children, this DVD is a great choice.
