While I adore a cup of coffee in the morning, I really do have a special fondness for tea.
Some of my favourite childhood memories are of my mom brewing up a pot of tea in her favourite china teapot for all of us to enjoy and it’s a tradition I’ve continued with my boys too.
Having a cup of tea is a special treat and choosing their favourite variety from the assortment of herbal teas in my cupboard is something they always look forward to doing.
Celestial Seasonings has been one of my favourite tea brands since those early childhood days and this year, the company’s iconic Sleepytime Tea is celebrating its fortieth birthday!
To commemorate the occasion, the company has released an exclusive collector’s tin and travel tin and I recently received five of them to distribute among my family and friends. I couldn’t wait to share some relaxation with the help of these cute tins!
I gave tins of tea to my mother, my sister and my two best blogging friends and of course, I had to keep one for my boys and me!
A few nights after receiving the tin, I made us each a cup of tea to enjoy before bed. What I love most about the Sleepytime Tea’s flavour is the spearmint. It gives the tea such a great smooth flavour and when blended with chamomile, it’s a very soothing and relaxing way to end a busy day.
With all natural herbs including lemongrass and orange blossom, Sleepytime Tea is such a great way to end the day and is appropriate for tea-lovers of all ages to enjoy. Grab a box and brew up a cup of this sweet and soothing tea to celebrate this relaxing fortieth birthday!

I relax and unwind in bed. Just lay there, nice and quiet, stretch my muscles if needed, and eventually fall asleep.
Try to wind down with a book or mindless TV show.
My husband makes me a cup of herbal tea and I read or play solitaire until I’m too sleepy to keep my eyes open!!
I usually have acup of chamomile or Sleepytime (maybe wine depending on the kind of day) and read a book!
