Squishy Snak Pak Pouches Make Eco-Friendly Lunches Easier-Giveaway

My boys absolutely love fruit puree pouches. These convenient sealed pouches first appeared as an alternative to the glass jar from baby food companies, but older children loved the squeezable pouches so much that it wasn’t long before companies started creating fruit snack pouches especially designed for older children too! Zackary and Benjamin both love eating applesauce and other fruit purees this way and I like it too since it’s less messy and I don’t have to worry about packing a spoon in their lunches!

When Michelle from Squishy Snak Pak contacted me about reviewing her unique refillable pouches, I was intrigued. Having a refillable version of the snack pouches my boys loved wouldn’t just be an eco-friendlier option; it would be less expensive as well. I received a set of two Squishy Snak Pak pouches to review and I couldn’t wait to see how they worked.

When I first saw the pouches, my main concern was how I was going to fill them since the spout at the top of the pouches is quite small. I soon realized that the company had thought of that! The bottom of the pouch features a resealable zipper seal so that I can open the pouch, fill it from the bottom and then seal it up again. Because the pouches aren’t being filled from the top, they can’t be filled as full as a store-bought pouch. I found I actually preferred this, however, since it made a better serving size for my boys.

The Squishy Snak Pak pouches can be filled with yoghurt, applesauce, pudding, homemade fruit purees or any other squeezable snack that kids love. And cleaning them each day was so easy! I just opened the bottom of the pouch, rinsed it out with warm water and set it open on our dish rack to dry for the next day.
