My boys absolutely love fruit puree pouches. Having a refillable version of the snack pouches my boys loved wouldn’t just be an eco-friendlier option; it would be less expensive as well. I received a set of two Squishy Snak Pak pouches to review and I couldn’t wait to see how they worked.
When I first saw the pouches, my main concern was how I was going to fill them since the spout at the top of the pouches is quite small. I soon realized that the company had thought of that! The bottom of the pouch features a resealable zipper seal so that I can open the pouch, fill it from the bottom and then seal it up again. Because the pouches aren’t being filled from the top, they can’t be filled as full as a store-bought pouch. I found I actually preferred this, however, since it made a better serving size for my boys.
The Squishy Snak Pak pouches can be filled with yoghurt, applesauce, pudding, homemade fruit purees or any other squeezable snack that kids love. And cleaning them each day was so easy! I just opened the bottom of the pouch, rinsed it out with warm water and set it open on our dish rack to dry for the next day.
