Last year my family had the chance to review the brand new Twistos Snack Bites. They were crispy and light little morsels of deliciousness that I absolutely loved. And with flavours like Asiago, Bruschetta and Parmesan & Garlic, I couldn’t help but want to hide the bags away for myself! Unfortunately, the boys loved the Twistos just as much as I did, so I reluctantly shared my new favourite snack!
Now, Twistos has released a brand new flavour of Twistos Snack Bites and a new line of Twistos Crackers and I couldn’t resist when I was given the opportunity to test them out! I received a review package packed with Twistos Snack Bites and Twistos Crackers and the boys and I enjoyed snacking heaven for days afterwards.
As a fan of Twistos Snack Bites already, I just had to test out the new flavour before I did anything else. Twistos Balsamic Vinegar & Olive Oil is hands-down my new favourite flavour. I love the rich, tangy, slightly sweet taste of balsamic vinegar and it pairs with the light crispiness of the snack bites wonderfully. I still do enjoy the original flavours, but the new variety of Twistos has won top honours in my heart.
The Cheddar & Chive and Parmesan & Oregano Twistos Crackers, on the other hand, while tasty, actually didn’t impress me as much. What I love so much about Twistos is the texture; the crunchy, melt-in-your-mouth morsel is what makes these bites so fabulous to me. The crackers were tasty and packed with flavour, but they were just crackers. There was nothing to make them stand out in my mind like the Twistos Snack Bites do.
The boys, however, both really enjoyed the Twistos Crackers. Their favourite was the Parmesan & Oregano variety and they loved taking containers of the crackers in their lunches and enjoying them as an afternoon snack as well. I have to admit, I was pretty happy about how much they enjoyed the crackers since it let me occasionally claim a package of Twistos Snack Bites all for myself while they snacked on Twistos Crackers!
