Mother’s Day is this weekend and Disney Junior has a whole day of celebration on the way! If you’re looking for a way to relax and have some quiet time with your children, you’ll love the line-up on Sunday, May 12!
The fun kicks off at 9am with Special Agent Oso. Eun-Kyung wants to make a handprint as a Mother’s Day gift for her Mom, but she doesn’t know how! Then join Handy Manny as he gets a call from Mr. Lopart’s Mother to build a mantle for her fireplace. Mr. Lopart is disappointed that his mother didn’t call him so he follows along. At 10am, enjoy back-to-back episodes of Jake and the Never Land Pirates featuring Sharon Osbourne as the voice of Mama Hook! And finish the fun at 11am with Doc McStuffins as Mom steps in to perform “surgery” on Lambie!
But the fun doesn’t end after Mother’s Day! The very next week, on Saturday, May 18, get the family together for the Disney Junior movie premiere of Tangled! I can’t wait to watch the movie together with my boys and when I do, I’ll be whipping up these easy and healthy little orange boats modelled after Rapunzel and Flynn’s boat in the movie. I used wooden skewers and purple craft foam to make these quick snacks and they were a hit with both my boys.
So get ready to celebrate moms this Sunday and then get carried away on a magical adventure with Rapunzel and Flynn. It’s going to be a fun-filled, mom-filled month on Disney Junior this May!
