Receiving a box of goodies from LittleEcoFootprint has quickly become one of the highlights of my month. Discovering new eco-friendly brands for my family is so much fun and the surprise of not knowing what I’ll receive makes the boxes even better! April was quite easily one of my favourite boxes thus far; I couldn’t believe how many treats were packed inside!
The box contained Earth’s Berries soap nuts, Elma & Sana pure organic Argan oil, PRANA snack mixes, Smith Farms Red Berry Lip Tint, a set of six wooden blocks from Re-wood Toys, a $15 gift card from Wee Woolies and a $7 gift card from Maple Hill Dryer Balls. I had a few favourites this month but the first one was the absolutely scrumptious PRANA Kilimanjaro snack mix. The blend of nuts, berries and dark chocolate was enhanced with just a touch of sea salt and I literally couldn’t stop eating it once I started! And with antioxidants, protein and fibre, it’s a smart snack choice as well as a delicious one!
The Earth’s Berries soap nuts were another welcome surprise. I have used soap nuts many times and they are absolutely incredible for cleaning clothes naturally and gently. The used soap nuts can even be composted! This time I’m going to try my hand at turning the soap nuts into liquid detergent; it’s a great easy way to stretch soap nuts even further!
The Elma & Sana Argan oil was the other product I was really excited about trying. I’ve heard a lot about Argan oil recently but hadn’t had the chance to use it myself. The oil is said to be incredibly nourishing for skin, hair and nails and I’ve been adding a few drops to my usual moisturizer. My face is much softer and smoother to the touch and I love how healthy and glowing my skin looks!
