When I choose shampoo, body wash and other personal care products for my boys, I have two top priorities in mind. I want the products to be gentle and I want them to be effective. A history of allergies in our family has made me hesitant to use products that are too heavily scented or harsh and so, when I was given the chance to test out Johnson’s Head-to-Toe Baby Wash, I was excited to give it a try. The brand is one that my mom trusted when my siblings and I were younger and Johnson’s baby products have been a parents’ top pick for generations. Johnson’s Head-to-Toe Baby Wash is even the #1 choice of hospitals!
One of the things I absolutely love about Johnson’s Head-to-Toe Baby Wash is that it is so multipurpose. Not only is it designed to wash a baby’s delicate skin, it also works just as well for washing soft infant hair so one product is all that’s needed at bath time. Keeping two or three different baby products by a small infant bathtub can be a little frustrating, especially if baby is in a restless mood. Having accidentally grabbed the wrong item more than once when using multiple bath products, I appreciate having one baby wash that does it all!
I also enjoy how gentle the baby wash is on a little one’s delicate skin. The dye-free, soap-free, hypoallergenic formula of this baby wash ensures that my children’s skin doesn’t get red or irritated. In fact, the baby wash is so mild that it doesn’t even irritate the eyes! I’m pretty good at washing a baby’s hair without shampoo in the eyes being an issue, but I can’t count the times my boys have had soapy hands during a bath and then rubbed their eyes themselves! Fortunately, Johnson’s Head-to-Toe Baby Wash doesn’t even result in tears when that happens since it’s as gentle to the eyes as pure water.
Of course, a gentle, tear-free formula isn’t much good if the product doesn’t leave my baby’s skin nice and clean, too. And Johnson’s Head-to-Toe Baby Wash provides fabulous cleansing that doesn’t dry out skin. I actually used the baby wash after Canada Day in an attempt to remove thick, greasy face paint from my youngest son’s forehead and cheeks. I was blown away by how easily the formula removed the thick face paint while still leaving my son’s skin soft and smooth. And the baby wash is virtually scent-free, which is always a plus for me when looking for gentle products!
I really appreciated the fact that Johnson’s Head-to-Toe Baby Wash was not just gentle and hypoallergenic, but was also incredibly effective at cleaning delicate skin so thoroughly. The mildly scented formula is a favourite in our household and always gets my boys nice and clean without any resulting dryness or irritation. That’s why the baby wash that is the top choice of hospitals is the perfect choice for my babies, too!
JOHNSON’S HEAD-TO-TOE ® is the #1 Choice of Hospitals, it gently cleanses without over-drying and is gentle enough for newborns. And, with its NO MORE TEARS formula, it’s the brand that mom’s trust.

I use it all the time on my kids, they just love it!!! Is it true in Canada that all the packages are in English as well as French???
That’s the baby wash I picked when I was a new mom shopping for my baby… Johnson’s is such a familiar, trusted brand. Great review – thanks for sharing.
I love how it smells but we opted to use the special stuff for our girls too. We used it growing up, it’s a brand that is known and trusted that’s for sure.
I love the smell of that shampoo. I used it on my two older boys, but unfortunately my princess had VERY sensitive skin and I had to use special stuff. She just didn’t smell the same!
My favorite cleaning product is Johnson and Johnson’s baby oil! It sounds silly but that baby shines up my sink/stainless steel/bathroom fixtures like nothing else.
that was the only soap we used on our boys when they were babies!
